These cookies were made for my good friend, Melissa’s, niece who lives in Texas. She wanted to surprise her with these give-a-ways. Red and gold was the color theme. I wanted to go with something sweet but not cutesy. Though simple in design, these cookies had a longer drying period since I iced in the numbers first and then colored in the white backgrown.
