A special request from Leilani to celebrate the arrival of Baby Oliver.
Proud Parents: Eileen and Jorgen
What a wonderful way to start the new year to celebrate my God daughter’s first birthday. Ava’s mom really out did herself for her party but it was worth it and everyone had a blast. The party was a Circus Theme. They had a balloon artist, cartoon artist, face painting, magician, popcorn, cotton candy…etc! I was asked to make cookies and cupcakes and a smash cake. Ava’s mom planned this when Ava was six months, so we brainstormed all possible cookie ideas…circus animals? balloons?…we finally settled for party hats and mini cupcakes as the give-a-ways.
I made 250 party hats and 500 mini cupcakes cookies….yes very tiring!
There’s a reason why I love what I do…it because special occasions like these are once in a lifetime and to be a part of it, in this way, is a wonderful feeling. Ava’s so close to my heart and cherish her like she was my own daughter. Happy Birthday Ava!
Happy New Year!
As this new year begins, I thought it appropriate to start off with a new logo. I’ve been thinking of doing this for awhile now, but never had time to design it. I wanted something simple and clean, yet eye catching. I emphasized the “A” to show the identity of me, Aileen. The colors are always hard to pick, but there’s something about teal and brown that I’m loving.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and may this new year bring you lots of joy!
