These cookies have made my top 10 favorites! Beside the uniqueness of these cookies, they are also original artwork of tamayo + kubota design. Jess also designed her own baby shower invitations and the cookie tags.

There was some stress making these cookies knowing that this was one of my sister’s good friends and I didn’t want to disappoint Jess and her designs. This was my first time stenciling on cookies so I wasn’t sure how it would come out. But I’m pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

Cookie Favors. Jess also designed the tags which helped me tremendously!

All packaged up and ready to go…

Congratulations to Jess and her husband! And thank you again for letting me part of your celebration.

PLEASE NOTE: These cookies were designed specifically and only for Jesslene’s baby shower. Original work is owned by tamayo + kubota design. All rights reserved.

May Creations-Part 2

What a wonderful month this has been. I’ve been fortunate to be part of so many celebrations: baptisms, baby showers, confirmations, wedding showers, teacher appreciation, mom & daughter celebration & birthdays. This was also a record month of new creations. A total of 20 new designs to create!

Here’s the conclusion of May Creations:

I will have a separate post on these cookies shortly. The flower and bird were designed by mommy to be, graphic designer of tamayo + kubota design.

Christine graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Magna Cum Laude. She gave these graduation caps as favors at her party.

Natalie requested these favors for her coworker’s baby shower. She requested an addition of a football on the tags because the parents are big football fans.

Jacqueline requested these favors for her friends who were celebrating their wedding shower in Northern California. Jacqueline wanted their initials on the cookie along with the colors: chocolate brown, champagne & lavender. The invitation had an intricate border and I was inspired to incorporate it on the cookie.

Collin’s Mom, Achelle, was having a Toy Story themed party for her 2 year old son. We brainstormed on a few ideas until we came up with these. Inspiration for the #2 yellow with red strips came from SweetSugarBelle. Inspiration for the #2 Buzz was from a drawing Achelle’s cousin design. Ball with the star is Pixar’s Luxo’s Ball. Separate post to follow.

Thank you to all for letting me part of your celebrations!

Judy was hosting a Mom and Daughter pajama party at her house for her daughter’s girl scout troop. Mom and daughter had matching pajamas and they did lots of games and crafts for that evening. Judy wanted to make it a little more personal so she asked if I could make cookies of each girl scout and a matching cookie for the moms.

She saw this cookie I painted last year for my daughter’s kindergarten class.

For the party, Judy wanted the cookies to have the girl scout uniforms and hair that matched each girl, so here’s what I did…

And here’s the mom’s….

And lastly, Judy with her daughter Taylor…

The technique is painting on marshmallow fondant. The “paint” is gel coloring and a little vodka. Very easy to do and fun to experiment with.

I hope the girls had fun and glad to make these!
